About Us

HTL International School is a higher private educational center that has existed in the Spanish market since 2005. Working closely with professionals in the industry, our academic team has developed a strategy to design study programs that are focused on providing skills and knowledge to the students that would turn them into valuable assets in the labor market.

Having acquired in 2021 into our team professionals from the world of Classical Music and Music Theatre, the creation of a Classical Music Business Master’s degree was inevitable. The combination of artistic inspiration with down-to-earth managerial skills will help our students to become what the Music industry is waiting for and needs!

Among the objectives of the school are:

• To produce high-quality research, emphasizing both societal and industry needs.
• To develop and offer post-graduate, bachelor’s degree, diploma, and certificate programs independently and in collaboration with national and international institutions/organizations/industry.
• To offer capacity-building training programs, on-the-job training programs, entrepreneurial development programs, and management development programs for various levels, independently and in collaboration with national and international institutions/ organizations/ industry.

All faculty members of the School are fully qualified and experienced in several business, marketing, and music-related areas like business administration, digital marketing, artist management, travel organizations, events production, concert venue management, or ticket sales and marketing.

Our School aims to create the perfect blend of knowledge, practical experience, and relevance to equip its students with the confidence and skills they need to get ahead in the world of work. We are not only focusing on basic artist and management, but also tickets and playbills design, set and costume creation, hairstyles, and makeup for different types of performances, venues like theatres, concert halls, opera houses, open-air venues, bars and nightclubs, historical venues, original venues. We are enthusiastic about the creation of real-life music events which is why every one of our students will participate in the creation of the project from scratch. 

It is difficult to answer the question “how we are”, so we will tell you “what we are”:

We are optimization: Our objective is not to waste your time, giving you as much theory as possible, but to provide you with the most useful information that you will need in your professional life. To do this, we always listen to you carefully, and we are optimizing our study plans accordingly; it may change to adapt it to everyone’s needs as much as possible.

We are the reality: Our teaching staff are not just teachers, but they are Young and energetic individuals, with experience in different spheres of Business, Acting, Marketing, Music, and Languages. They will guide you through this world, not just by reading ancient books but by providing real-life examples and advice.

We are eco: We have elaborated a strict Corporate Responsibility Policy that includes ecology, social, and economic spheres, trying to reduce the use of paper, and even the recycled one. We are transforming all provided study resources into digital, starting from the brochures with our course information to the books and materials we use in class.

We are hybrid: While the world is waiting for augmented reality, we are moving towards it, connecting the world in one class! We hope that soon there won’t be any difference, whether you are in Barcelona, Valencia, Madrid, or any other city on the map; we can all be together.

We are family: Coming from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds, we are passionate about the world of Business, Music, Marketing, Theatre, and Languages, and this passion unites us. We treat each student personally, as much as we can (but we are not almighty).

For the Classical Music Business Master’s degree, we suggest you two modalities of study:

• Face-to-Face (in Barcelona campus) or
• Virtual (connecting to classes from Valencia, Madrid, or any other city worldwide).

Virtual modality allows you to be in any place you want and still be present in the class with the teacher and classmates.

Being Face-to-face in Barcelona opens more possibilities, since on our campus we have:

• Spacious rooms for training and rehearsal
• Sound-equipped room for vocal or instrumental training
• Musical equipment
• Materials to use for practice
• Possibility to arrange an additional tutoring session
• And a fun atmosphere

The city of Barcelona is laid out in a grand style and is the perfect place to study! It has a lot of interesting venues and possibilities for creating classical music events. With music festivals happening all year long, big-scale or local, people are interested in creativity and having a good time, which gives you the perfect option for your Final project creation and future job offer.

If you study virtually for 6 months of your program, you are invited to come to Barcelona for the last 3 months. You will meet your classmates and participate actively in the Final project organization.
